Course Overview

This course is designed to introduce students to Psychology and the study of human behaviour. It explores the approaches adopted in Psychology including Cognitive, Biological, Humanistic, Behavioural and Psychodynamic Approaches. Students will also examine key psychological debates like Nature vs Nurture and how debates have changed over time. Also the complex ethical minefield of Psychological practice is researched in this course and students get the opportunity to delve into at least two Psychological fields. This could include Sports, Forensic, Social and Educational fields.
